Job summary

RXinsider LTD. in Petersburg, VA seeks a Maintenance Technician, Facilities & Utilities to inspect, operate, maintain, and repair critical utility systems for aseptic manufacturing. You’ll work with boilers, chillers, air handlers, pumps, and related equipment, applying GMP practices and CMMS tools.

The role requires performing rounds, recording readings, troubleshooting, and coordinating with engineering and vendors to prevent production impact. Shift is 2-2-3, 12-hour evenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associate's degree in a technical field.
• Experience maintaining utilities/facilities equipment with OSHA or GMP awareness.
• Ability to complete documentation neatly and follow guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers, cooling towers, compressors, pumps and related equipment.
• Perform daily rounds to ensure equipment is in working condition and compliant with safety policies.
• Read pressures and fluid levels; produce reports from results as needed.
• Respond to alarms and perform repairs; troubleshoot utilities with owners, engineers, vendors.
• Work in mechanical, pipefitting, HVAC/refrigeration, electrical, or plumbing trades.
• Collaborate with engineers, calibration, and spare parts teams for PMs and inventory.
