Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in Round Lake, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician for night shift operations (7pm-7:30am, 3-2-2 rotating). You will operate and maintain facility and utility equipment for manufacturing areas, ensuring reliability and compliance with GMP and GDP standards.

You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, monitor building systems, and lead safety initiatives while documenting activities and improving equipment performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; technical certifications a plus.
• Associates degree in a technical discipline or higher is preferred.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience is preferred.
• Experience with basic hand tools and electrical meters.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical/electrical drawings.
• Experience with CMMS (Maximo) is preferred.
• Electrical knowledge for AC/DC motors and drives up to 480V 3-phase.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily checks and maintenance activities in facility areas.
• Conduct preventive and planned maintenance as needed.
• Follow safety/compliance requirements and maintain clean work area.
• Record work accurately following GDP/Good Documentation Practices.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including boilers, air systems, and PLCs.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and training.
