Job summary

Stovepipe Wells Village in Death Valley National Park is seeking an Facilities and Transportation Assistant to operate the employee shuttle, assist with housing and facilities upkeep, and support staff engagement. The role requires a dependable, service-oriented individual capable of thriving in a dynamic resort setting.

The position includes on-site housing where available, opportunities to coordinate employee activities, and daily collaboration with the Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience driving passenger vans or shuttle vehicles preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a hospitality environment.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the company shuttle according to schedules.
• Coordinate routine maintenance and inspections for shuttle and vehicles.
• Transport vehicles to maintenance and repair facilities as needed.
• Deliver mail and packages to employee mailboxes.
• Clean and maintain restrooms and pool areas.
• Assist guests with luggage and other needs.
• Plan and support employee events and activities to promote engagement.
• Maintain clean outdoor and common areas and assist with housing preparations.
