Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or a related field is required; plus four years of electrical, HVAC/Refrigeration, plumbing experience and two years supervisory experience or equivalent.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license; HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrician license/certification is preferred.
• Must demonstrate knowledge in HVAC, construction, and project management related to civil engineering and public infrastructure.

• Examination includes evaluation of education and experience; official transcripts required if selected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a specific group of building maintenance staff and contractors; manage workloads and ensure completion; conduct performance reviews and discipline as needed.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support; develop preventative maintenance plans.
• Draft construction specifications and descriptions for materials, processes, and contracts.
• Demonstrate proficiency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and code compliance; manage CMMS and safety programs.
• Coordinate contracts, procurement, and inventory; ensure compliance with Fulton County policies.
