Fulton County is seeking a Building Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the Department of Real Estate and Asset Management in Alpharetta, GA. The role focuses on leading the maintenance staff across carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and related trades, ensuring safe, reliable facilities for county operations.

Responsibilities include prioritizing emergencies, coordinating service orders, training staff, managing vendor invoices, and developing cost estimates for capital projects.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required with three years experience in carpentry, painting, mechanical, electrical and plumbing repair.
• One year of lead or supervisory experience in building maintenance.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.

Mansioni

• Supervises assigned staff, including workloads, supervision, performance evaluation, policy enforcement and disciplinary action.
• Receives and prioritizes emergency repair requests and oversees service orders.
• Inspects buildings to ensure maintenance needs are met and coordinates with vendors.
• Develops maintenance budgets and cost estimates for projects under Capital Improvement Program.
• Liaisons with county departments, vendors, and administrators.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, fire codes, and building safety standards.
