Job summary

Midwest Health is seeking qualified candidates for our Maintenance Team serving Senior Living Communities in the Wichita region. You will handle building upkeep, repairs, and grounds maintenance, keeping systems and equipment in good condition.

Responsibilities include timely reporting, respectful interaction with residents and staff, and readiness to respond to emergencies 24/7. Competitive benefits and salary are offered, including health coverage and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to perform electrical and plumbing tasks.
• Reliable transportation to support field assignments.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents, visitors, and team members with respect and dignity.
• Report to work on time and as scheduled.
• Maintain grounds free of hazards, debris, and clutter; keep sidewalks and drives clear of snow and ice.
• Maintain the building including painting, replacing worn tiles, repairing furniture, locks, baseboards, trim, windows.
• Ensure electrical system and appliances are in good working order.
• Ensure plumbing is in working order.
• Maintain complex equipment including washers, dryers, boilers, AC, furnaces and lawn mowers.
• Assure 24-hour availability of maintenance emergencies.
