Job summary

Bethesda Senior Living Communities in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Senior living facilities/maintenance assistant to work full time with the Director of Facilities to ensure building, equipment, and grounds meet safety and cleanliness standards for residents, visitors and staff.

You will respond to work orders promptly, monitor temperature of hot water and refrigerators, perform painting, repairs, and assist in moving residents, while maintaining a professional appearance and a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of MSDS sheets and hazardous materials guidelines.
• Knowledge of safety and facilities management regulations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders to ensure residents' comfort in a timely manner.
• Monitor temperatures of hot water and refrigerators to ensure resident safety.
• Paint rooms and perform touch-ups as assigned.
• Repair roofs, floors, and walls as needed.
• Assist in moving residents to different rooms.
• Maintain grounds to reflect a welcoming environment.
• Follow safety policies for handling maintenance chemicals.
