Responsive Education Solutions is seeking a Facilities Technician for Home Office(s) in Lewisville, TX. The role supports general maintenance of district buildings and grounds, including mechanical, electrical, and sanitary systems, with duties guided by supervision.

Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED and a valid Texas driver license, plus 2+ years in building maintenance. Aimed at a hands-on professional comfortable working with tools, teams, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general building maintenance experience.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work in a team environment but work independently when needed.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to travel as necessary.

Responsabilités

• Assist skilled workers with the repair and maintenance of district facilities, including repairing woodwork; replacing electrical switches, fixtures, and motors; painting, repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures and drainage systems, and replacing broken glass.
• Inspect building exterior and interior, playground equipment, and grounds, perform maintenance and minor repairs
• Detect and report needed major repairs on building structures and their systems, including lockers, furniture and equipment
• Complete repairs as requested or on work orders and record time and materials used
• Assist with mowing and detailing of district grounds, as needed
• Assist with relocation of furnishings, such as desks, tables, chairs, file cabinets, etc.
• Move, install, assemble and repair all school furniture and playground equipment, as needed.
• Hang pictures, mirrors, blackboards, bulletin boards, projection screens, towel dispensers, soap dispensers, and other items as required
• Install door and window assemblies and hardware, including window glass and screens
• Install ceiling and flooring materials
• Other job functions as assigned by supervision
• Operate light truck to transport furniture and equipment throughout district
• Maintain a professional attitude while working with district administrators, staff and students
