Job summary

RHP Properties, Inc. in Lewisville, Texas, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general grounds and home repairs across a 40-hour workweek. You will handle maintenance requests, manage assessments with the Community Manager, and maintain a clean community environment.

The role requires hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, plus a valid driver’s license. Tools may be provided by the employee, and on-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Able to operate maintenance equipment.
• May need to provide own tools.
• Able to bend, reach, twist, walk continuously and access restricted spaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintain homes and community areas in proper condition.
• Process work orders and report status to Community Manager promptly.
• Interact courteously with residents, visitors, and staff.
• Identify deficiencies and take action with manager approval.
• Keep grounds manicured and perform lawn care tasks.
• Remove garbage from grounds and resident sites as needed.
• Perform snow removal and winter maintenance.
