Job summary

Certified Collectibles Group in Sarasota, FL, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. This on-site, full-time role involves maintaining building systems, performing routine upkeep, and addressing tenant repair requests to keep our offices safe and functional.

You will work with a team or independently, handle electrical, plumbing, and heating systems, and assist with landscaping. A high school diploma and 1+ years of maintenance experience are preferred; a

Qualifications

• 1+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and heating systems.
• Must pass a background check.
• Should own steel-toed footwear (ASTM F2413) to wear on site.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure everything is in working order.
• Repair malfunctioning equipment units and broken structures.
• Install and maintain ventilation and refrigeration units.
• Paint and make readies.
• Respond to tenant repair requests.
• Perform light landscaping and groundskeeping work as needed.
• Select and contract specialists on larger maintenance-related projects.
• Advise purchasing manager during new equipment purchases.
• Train employees on proper equipment usage.
