Job summary

Eaton’s IS VEH Technology division in Marshall, MI is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain buildings, support the Marshall Proving Grounds, and oversee contractors. You will perform HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, safety system maintenance, lawn care, snow removal, and general upkeep while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of hands-on facilities maintenance experience, and the ability to work in a local area without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in plant or R&D facilities maintenance.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; local to Marshall, MI area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Marshall site facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and safety systems.
• Respond to safety system notifications and emergencies, after hours if needed.
• Oversee vendors and contractors to support facility operations and maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with facility customers, management, and co-workers.
• Support environmental health and safety initiatives and 5S activities.
