Job summary

Avride is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to support upkeep, repairs, and preventative maintenance at our Dallas office. The role requires hands-on, multi-trade abilities, strong problem-solving, and the independence to manage tasks while collaborating with a broader team when needed.

You will perform maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, execute preventative tasks, operate tools, and maintain logs.

Qualifications

• Experience performing general maintenance across multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and building systems.
• Proficient with maintenance tools and safe operation of equipment.
• Basic computer skills for logging maintenance and work orders.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and troubleshooting across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
• Execute preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment, including power tools and ladders.
• Install and repair lock systems and door hardware.
• Perform light electrical tasks such as replacing outlets and lighting components.
• Carry out basic plumbing tasks and interpret building systems for maintenance.
• Log maintenance activities accurately in work order systems.
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations; travel between sites if required.
