Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for a first-shift role in Waukegan, IL. The technician will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, handle electrical, plumbing, welding, carpentry and hydraulic repairs, and assist with snow removal.

A strong safety mindset and the ability to respond quickly to maintenance needs are essential. Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least 3 years of related experience in one or more trades, plus a valid driver's

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in one or more trades (carpentry, electrical, plumbing) and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and general/preventive maintenance as directed by work orders.
• Use maintenance checklists to identify maintenance needs and complete work orders.
• Handle general maintenance tasks such as painting and concrete repairs.
• Complete electrical, plumbing, welding, carpentry, and hydraulic repairs as needed.
• Assist with snow removal and respond to after-hours maintenance situations.
• Maintain required maintenance logs and documentation.
