Job summary

Diamondback Energy is seeking a Building & Corporate Services Technician in Midland, TX. The role is hands-on, supporting building maintenance, moving, construction, meeting preparations, and ad hoc activities. Strong communication and mechanical aptitude are essential.

The successful candidate will oversee vendors, coordinate between locations, and act as the central contact for facility inquiries while building strong relationships across HR, Safety, and Security teams.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on mechanical, construction, or technical work in building maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, painting, drywall, and general building repair.
• Able to use a variety of hand and electrical tools.
• High School Diploma.
• Safe driving record to maintain company insurance.
• Ability and willingness to perform maintenance work and lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the work of vendors and service providers as needed.
• Routinely drive between multiple Company locations to deliver materials and conduct maintenance.
• Act as the central point of contact for building maintenance inquiries.
• Communicate with facilities management about outside expert assistance as needed.
• Recommend facilities solutions and approaches that add value for the Company.
• Create and maintain strong relationships with HR, Safety and Security, and other teams.
