Job summary

Waynflete School in Portland, Maine, seeks a Facilities Staff member for a year-round, full-time role. The preferred schedule is Monday–Friday 10:00am–6:30pm with occasional weekends and overtime; some flexibility to adjust daily hours is available.

Duties include performing minor repairs, evaluating electrical, plumbing and heating needs, carpentry tasks, event setup and cleanup, painting, landscaping, snow removal, and general maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in the maintenance field with electrical, plumbing, and heating knowledge.
• Carpentry skills are a plus.
• Must hold a current driver’s license in good standing.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs and general maintenance tasks.
• Assess electrical, plumbing, and heating needs.
• Complete carpentry projects and event set-up/clean-up.
• Interior and exterior painting, landscaping, and snow removal.
• Assist with daily facility operations and upkeep.
