Job summary

Waynflete School is seeking a Facilities Staff member for a year-round, full-time role. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 6:30pm, with occasional weekends and overtime as needed. Daily hours may be adjusted to fit school needs.

Responsibilities include minor repairs, evaluating electrical, plumbing, and heating needs, carpentry tasks, event setup and cleanup, painting, landscaping, and snow removal. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in a school setting or fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and heating systems is required.
• Carpentry skills are a plus and beneficial for project work.
• Must hold a current driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Performing minor repairs and routine maintenance tasks.
• Assessing electrical, plumbing and heating needs and addressing them.
• Carpentry projects and small construction tasks as needed.
• Event set-up and clean-up for school activities and meetings.
• Interior and exterior painting and general upkeep.
• Landscaping, snow removal and grounds maintenance.
• Assisting with general maintenance as requested by supervisors.
