Job summary

Syner-G is seeking a Facilities Technician III to support operation, maintenance, and repair of GMP and non-GMP facility systems. You will troubleshoot complex issues across multiple building systems, ensuring safety and compliance while working with minimal supervision and guiding junior staff where needed.

This role requires 5–10 years of relevant experience, strong technical knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building utilities, and the ability to read schematics and operate CMMS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade certifications or apprenticeship preferred.
• 5–10 years in facility maintenance or related fields.
• Experience in regulated environments (cGMP biotech/pharma) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and building systems.
• Prioritize and execute work orders from tenants and internal customers.
• Troubleshoot complex HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and utilities problems.
• Inspect systems to identify maintenance needs and risks.
• Coordinate with contractors for complex repairs.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
• Support calibration and reliability programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and GMP standards.
• Mentor junior technicians as needed.
• Collaborate with Lab Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Safety.
