Job summary

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. seeks an experienced Facilities Technician II for its Verona, WI facility on either 1st or 2nd shift with flexible schedule.

The role emphasizes building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general systems within a regulated biopharma environment, with safety and cGMP compliance essential.

You will work with contractors, manage work orders in CMMS, and support continuous improvement while ensuring documentation and regulatory standards are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of facilities or building maintenance experience.
• Expertise across carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, painting, and HVAC.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Effective communication and collaborative work with contractors and QA.
• Knowledge of FDA, OSHA, EH&S, and Wisconsin regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with CMMS and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general facilities upkeep.
• Repair fixtures, switches, lighting, and power cords using hand and power tools.
• Plan and execute plumbing tasks, including leaks, valves, and pipe systems.
• Support installation and modification of plumbing infrastructure for lab/manufacturing changes.
• Maintain audit-ready maintenance records in CMMS.
• Coordinate with contractors, validation, and QA to ensure change control compliance.
• Respond to emergencies and identify preventive improvements.
