Job summary

TrueCare seeks a Facilities Technician II to perform routine building upkeep, repairs, and renovations at multiple TrueCare facilities. You’ll address plumbing, mechanical and electrical issues, change light bulbs, and assist with furniture assembly and general maintenance tasks.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least five years in facilities care, knowledge of building systems, and a California driver’s license to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least five (5) years’ experience in the care of and maintenance of major facilities.
• Working knowledge of materials, methods, tools and equipment used in maintenance and repair of plumbing, heating, AC and electrical systems.
• Journey level ability and experience in at least one building trade.
• California Driver’s License, insurance proof and clean driving record for last 3 years.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and respond to emergency callouts.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building upkeep and maintenance.
• Repair plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems; change light bulbs; assemble furniture and equipment.
• Perform cleaning and other maintenance duties.
• Travel between TrueCare sites as needed.
