Job summary

Health First is seeking a Facility Technician II to perform maintenance across our IDN facilities. You will inspect, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on buildings, grounds, and equipment, supporting safety and reliability of systems.

The role requires knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, the ability to work independently, and strong communication to coordinate with associates, patients, and visitors. Shift times and full-time schedule apply.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Work Experience: One year in comparable maintenance work.
• Licensure: Driver's license with clean MVR.
• Education in lieu: Health First Facilities Apprenticeship Program.
• Work experience in lieu: +2 years in maintenance.
• Skills/Abilities: Tools, mechanical/electrical/plumbing knowledge, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections, adjustments, and repairs on equipment and facilities.
• Delivers professional service to associates, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains documentation in the CMMS (TMA/FMP) within 24 hours.
• Responds to emergencies to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
• Maintains tools, equipment, and inventory; follows safety standards.
