Job summary

Colorado Rockies Baseball Club at McGregor Square in Denver seeks a Maintenance Technician II to perform broad maintenance across residential, office, and hotel spaces with emphasis on kitchen equipment repair. The role requires five years of building maintenance experience, plumbing/electrical/HVAC skills, blueprints reading, and a valid driver’s license.

A CPO license is preferred. You will use building automation systems and maintain records for preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Five years of building maintenance experience in large commercial or mixed-use property.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, commercial kitchen equipment.
• Basic knowledge of tiling, painting, caulking, ceiling tile installation, rough carpentry, basic finish carpentry, and groundskeeping.
• Ability to read blueprints, equipment diagrams and manufacturer instructions.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety practices; OSHA knowledge preferred.
• High school diploma plus two years of trade school or comparable training in building maintenance or construction.
• Certified Pool Operator license (CPO) or ability to obtain it within a timeframe established by the employer.
• Ability to drive and maintain a valid driving record; valid driver's license required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, hotel management, guests and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain commercial kitchen equipment including ovens, fryers, grills, steam tables, dishwashers, and ice machines.
• Inspect and service refrigeration systems, test leaks and maintain cooling equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and protect warranties.
• Record repairs, parts usage, and equipment conditions in logs.
• Proactively monitor Building Automation Systems for reliability.
• Assist with carpentry tasks: doors, windows, and hardware.
• Drive a company vehicle for assigned duties.
