Job summary

Mozaic, a not-for-profit organization serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Finger Lakes region, seeks a Facilities Specialist II to maintain safe, functional, and welcoming environments across its sites. This hands-on role involves plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep to support the people we serve.

The position is full-time (37.5 hours weekly) with a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, at 240 North Ave, Penn Yan, NY.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• At least 2 years of building maintenance experience.
• Familiar with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, heating and AC systems.
• Valid NYS Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep.
• Assist with renovation projects and preventive maintenance inspections.
• Operate power tools and equipment; support seasonal grounds maintenance and snow removal.
• Participate in on-call rotation for evening and weekend facility needs.
