Job summary

Syner-G seeks a Facilities Technician II to manage, execute, and support building and plant operations including labs and manufacturing utilities. The role requires routine inspections, documentation, and on-call response to emergencies, with GMP compliance and regulatory readiness.

Travel to client sites may be required up to 100% depending on project demands, and collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, QC, and R&D is essential to meet facility needs and maintain equipment reliability.

Qualifications

  • Experience in building and plant operations including labs and manufacturing utilities.
  • Ability to support GMP-compliant maintenance and regulatory readiness.
  • Willingness to be on-call for emergencies and maintain thorough records.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, coordinate, and oversee external service providers for maintenance tasks.
  • Support verification and maintenance with PIDs, HVAC, electrical, one-lines, and PFDs.
  • Ensure maintenance tasks are completed and documented per SOPs.
  • Perform, schedule, and oversee emergency troubleshooting on HVAC and facility systems.
  • Inspect equipment and utilities to identify issues before they become problems.
  • Maintain records of inspections and repairs to ensure audits and tracking.
  • Respond to alarms and emergencies with knowledge of emergency procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality control, and R&D to meet facility needs.

We are seeking a Facilities Technician II with experience in the management, execution, and day-to-day support of building and plant operations, including labs, manufacturing plants, utilities, equipment, and systems. The ideal candidate will perform routine inspections, maintain documented records, and be on-call for emergencies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and GMPs. Effective communication and collaboration with various departments are essential to meet the facility’s needs and quickly resolve any issues.

WORK LOCATION

Travel to client sites may be required up to 100%, based on project demands and client expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

(This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)

  • Schedule, coordinate, and oversee outside service providers for routine CM and PM Program tasks provided under building, system, or equipment maintenance contracts.
  • Support verification and maintenance with PIDs, HVAC, electrical, one-lines, and process flow diagrams (PFDs).
  • Ensure all Corrective Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance Program tasks are completed and documented properly according to policies and procedures.
  • Perform, schedule, coordinate, and oversee emergency troubleshooting and repair on various HVAC, mechanical, utility systems, and lab and manufacturing equipment (GxP and non-GxP).
  • Perform routine inspections of equipment and facility utilities to identify any issues before they become major problems, looking for signs of wear, leaks, or any abnormalities.
  • Maintain documented records of inspections, preventative maintenance activities, and any repairs following approved SOPs and Work Instructions to ensure compliance, audits, and tracking the overall state of the facility, utilities, and equipment.
  • Respond to alarms and emergencies, such as equipment failures or power outages, with a clear understanding of the facility’s emergency response procedures.
