Job summary

SanMar is seeking a Facilities Technician II to perform general maintenance, carpentry, minor repairs and routine painting in the DC warehouse. You will assist with preventive maintenance on building mechanical equipment, inspect belts, replace filters, grease bearings, and relocate furniture as needed.

The position requires 1–3 years in facility maintenance, use of hand and power tools, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of facility maintenance experience with hand and power tools.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment preferred.
• Able to work independently or in a team; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, carpentry, minor repairs, and routine painting.
• Assist with preventive maintenance on building mechanical equipment.
• Relocate, move, and adjust furniture as needed.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve facility operational issues.
• Maintain HAZMAT records and interact with external building services.
• May operate powered lift equipment.
• Maintain repair and maintenance log.
• Overtime as required; weekends may be involved.
