Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking an Operations Maintenance Technician to oversee safe operation, daily monitoring, and maintenance of facility systems including ASRS, dock equipment, plumbing, and electrical components.

The role requires adherence to safety standards, PLC knowledge, and ability to perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance. This is a full-time position offering a comprehensive benefits package and growth within Sysco.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED; facility maintenance tech school preferred.
• Four years of industrial facility and ASRS maintenance experience, or equivalent.
• Refrigeration Operator I / RETA CARO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding and adherence to all work safety policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of controls and electric (high and low voltage) with OSHA electrical safety standards; Title 29.
• NFPA 70 National electrical code and NFPA 70E electrical safety requirements.
• Understanding of electrical meter testing and Arc Flash requirements.
• Working knowledge of PLCs and PLC troubleshooting.
• Complete small welding projects as needed.
• Complete special projects in buildings or grounds as requested.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• General building maintenance including light carpentry, painting, plumbing, and bulb changes.
• Maintain assets through preventative maintenance and repairs including roof inspections.
