Job summary

South Piedmont Community College is seeking a Facilities Technician II for a full-time role to support facilities maintenance on the LL Polk Campus in Polkton, NC. The position reports to the Director of Facilities in Anson County and works with the department to complete work requests and care for the facilities and grounds.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, valid driver's license, ability to lift 70 lbs, climb ladders, and knowledge of general maintenance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all facilities (buildings) and properties (grounds, equipment, cars, etc.).
• Assist with security of facilities.
• Assist with special events including setup and cleanup.
• Look for and report facility and property problems.
• Perform routine maintenance such as painting, plumbing, mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Perform a variety of laboring duties as assigned.
• Ability to be on call or work evenings if needed.

Position Overview: We areseeking a Facilities Technician II for a full-time role that offers an opportunity to support facilities maintenance on the LL Polk Campus in Polkton, NC. This position reports to the Director of Facilities in Anson County, works closely with all members of the department in the repair and maintenance of college facilities, and is responsible for the completion of work requests assigned and general care of the facilities and grounds.
