Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain and repair our facility and production equipment in a GMP-regulated environment. You will handle general maintenance, equipment repairs, and small projects while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

On-call coverage and standard Monday–Friday hours are required. Responsibilities include HVAC, electrical and plumbing tasks, plus direct collaboration with contractors to support facility needs.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Two to four years' maintenance experience, preferably in medical or health-related settings.
Basic writing and communication skills.
Computer literate.
Knowledge of cGMP regulations ISO 13485, 21CFR Part 820, CMDR SOR/98-282, 93/42/EEC, RDC 16 2013, MHLW MO 169 and TG(MD)R Sch3 preferred.
General carpentry, electrical, plumbing and flooring skills.
Knowledge of federal and state regulations as it relates to Building and maintenance codes and safety.
Ability to work the stated Monday-Friday schedule and provide on-call alarm coverage, including 24/7 coverage.

Responsibilities

Maintain facility including flooring, walls, painting, plumbing, lighting, ceilings, doors and windows.
Repair and maintain production equipment including dental 3D/laser printers and dental mills.
Perform preventive maintenance on plant and line equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair production line equipment.
Direct small projects and minor buildouts.
Assist HVAC, electrical, and plumbing installations.
On-call responder for 24/7 alarm coverage.
All work performed safely per SOPs and regulations.

Job description

Conduct general maintenance and repair throughout the facility, including flooring, wall patching, painting, plumbing, lighting, ceilings, tile, doors, windows and forklift duties
Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including dental 3D/laser/model printers, dental mills, vacuums, sandblasters, furnaces, ovens, mixers, presses, rollers and shakers
Perform preventive maintenance on plant and line equipment
Troubleshoot and repair plant and line equipment
Organize and direct small projects and minor buildouts not requiring a general contractor
Repair and install small to medium equipment and systems
Assist with HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting
Conduct electrical installations and wiring
Conduct plumbing installations and piping
Assist other Facilities Technicians
Escort contractors and vendors on-site
Serve as on-call responder for alarm calls with 24/7 coverage
Perform all work safely and follow SOPs and safety requirements
