Job summary

Heritage Real Estate Company seeks a Facilities Technician I for daytime and occasional weekend work at our Albuquerque properties. Responsibilities include maintenance across plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting to keep Class A buildings in top condition.

Requires 5+ years in facilities maintenance, strong customer service, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. OSHA forklift/scissor lift certs or willingness to obtain are required. Flexible hours including nights/weekends are possible.

Qualifications

• Five years minimum experience in facilities maintenance and/or construction.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• OSHA forklift and/or scissor lift certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to work in varied conditions including outdoors, confined spaces, and at height.
• Ability to push/pull/lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to work orders and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Maintain equipment per preventive maintenance schedules.
• Inspect buildings, grounds and systems for safety or operational issues.
• Perform general facility maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, painting, carpentry, locks, windows, roofing.
• Manage landscaping and groundskeeping.
• Repair and maintain fixtures such as toilets, sinks, urinals, showers, drains, floors and carpets.
• Adhere to safety, health and sanitation standards.
• May include maintenance of pools, spas, or hot tubs.
• Other duties across Heritage Real Estate Company properties.

In this daytime and occasional weekend role, you'll dive into a variety of engaging tasks to keep our new, exciting food hall coming to Park Square, and our premier Class A office buildings, in excellent condition.

Full-time hourly position ranging from $26.44 to $28.85 an hour DOE plus benefits.

Located in Albuquerque, NM. Floating between multiple properties. Weekend work may occasionally be required. Schedule adjustments may be made to support business needs.

Position Purpose:

Reporting directly to the Regional Director of Facilities, the Facilities Technician I plays a key role in the operation and maintenance of Heritage’s Class A buildings. This position requires a high level of dependability, technical skill, and professionalism. The technician will perform a broad range of semi-skilled maintenance duties, including repair, construction, and remodeling of facilities and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to work orders and perform routine maintenance tasks


• Maintain equipment per preventive maintenance schedules


• Inspect buildings, grounds, and systems for safety or operational issues
