Geronimo Hospitality Group seeks a Facilities Technician I to perform maintenance across assigned properties, focusing on aesthetics and safety. You will respond to calls, verify lighting, maintain entrances, and support other techs, ensuring clean, safe, and inviting spaces for tenants and visitors.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and knowledge of building maintenance. Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with Yardi are preferred.

• General knowledge in building and grounds maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with tenants, contractors and management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Bachelor’s/associate degree preferred (2- or 4-year college).
• Yardi or equivalent software experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Full focus on aesthetics of a property or group of properties.
• Grounds/parking lot cleanup.
• Verifies all lighting systems are operating properly.
• Attention to cleanliness of entrances of tenant suites/spaces.
• Perform routine checks/sign offs of fire extinguishers and exit/emergency lights within the property(s).
• Snow/ice removal as necessary.
• Identify any potential safety hazards on a property or group of properties.
• Maintaining landscapes/hardscapes within the property(s).
• Support for other Maintenance Technicians when necessary.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the shop/working areas.

As the Facilities Technician I, you are responsible for performing maintenance on assigned properties to keep them free from safety hazards and ensure they are kept in aesthetically pleasing condition. This position is responsible for responding to maintenance calls and concerns.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education

Experience and/or Training
