Job summary

Target is hiring a Facility Attendant 1 in our Distribution Center, Houston, TX. You will perform a wide range of maintenance tasks and support technicians to keep equipment and facilities safe and efficient.

Responsibilities include assisting with mechanical maintenance, operating power tools, changing batteries, handling supplies, and logging work orders while ensuring safety procedures and PPE usage at all times. This role offers learning opportunities in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to read and comprehend labels and tickets.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and self-motivate.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Technicians with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Assist in installation/removal of equipment throughout the facility.
• Maintain daily work order logs and close Work Orders using handheld devices.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE while maintaining a safe work environment.
