Job summary

Target is seeking a Facility Attendant 1 in Houston to perform a variety of maintenance tasks and support daily operations in the Distribution Center. The role involves assisting technicians, operating hand tools, and maintaining safety standards across the facility.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, battery upkeep for PITs, equipment checks, and occasional driving of Target vehicles for yard work and part pickups. Strong teamwork and communication are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance technicians with preventative and corrective tasks.
• Operate hand and power tools like drills, saws, grinders and welders.
• Change PIT batteries and maintain battery records.
• Inspect facility interiors/exteriors for upkeep and safety.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
• Drive Target vehicles for yard cleanup, parts pickup and incidents.
