Job summary

Sysco in Medley, FL is seeking an Operations position focused on maintenance of facility systems, ASRS, dock equipment, and electrical components. This role supports facility technicians II and III, performing preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and safety-focused tasks in a dynamic warehousing environment.

The job requires reading technical procedures, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to interpret regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures as required by the job.
• Learn/gain knowledge of controls and electric (high and low voltage).
• Perform small electrical repairs and welding projects as needed.
• Learn/gain knowledge of refrigeration operator I.
• Complete special projects related to building and grounds.
• Change lights and perform basic maintenance to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain facility assets through preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Inspect concrete and asphalt paving and perform minor repairs.
• Inspect and repair ASRS, dock equipment and product racking.
• Log time and materials into CMMS daily via work orders and PMs.
• Assist with ePSM inspections and logs.
• Participate in on-call program as designated.
