Job summary

MKS Instruments in Massachusetts is seeking a Facilities Technician to support the MA facilities. You will partner with engineering and operations, report to the MA Senior Facilities Manager, and help keep facilities safe, energy efficient, and productive for semiconductor tooling.

You will install equipment, maintain HVAC and gas detection systems, and collaborate to optimize building management systems. The role requires local travel and a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• 5–10 years of experience with gas detection systems.
• Good documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel between MA facilities.
• Must obtain wastewater certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, energy efficiency, and functionality of MA facilities for semiconductor tooling.
• Install new equipment and processes in collaboration with engineering/operations.
• Maximize maintenance programs for various systems across multiple facilities.
• Travel between MA facilities ~4 times per week.
