Job summary

Gate Gourmet operates a 24/7 facilities team responsible for maintaining critical equipment and infrastructure. The role involves coordinating with contractors, performing repairs, and ensuring safety and cleanliness across multiple unit locations.

You will handle electrical, plumbing, HVAC-related tasks and preventive maintenance as part of a hands-on maintenance team. Ideal candidates bring strong mechanical skills, the ability to prioritize, and experience with building systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
• Must pass welding test.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, oversees and may assist assigned contractors ensuring safety, quality and cleanliness of work performed.
• Performs building repairs including drywall, paint, wall-covering, ceiling tile and grid, carpet and tile flooring, door and door hardware.
• Performs plumbing repairs including faucets, sinks, urinals, toilets, drains, and valves.
• Performs exterior repairs including irrigation, signs, fence, roof, and metal siding.
• Performs daily site inspections of facilities and mechanical equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Performs preventive maintenance to building systems and equipment and creates equipment check sheets.
