Job summary

EMCOR Group seeks a Mobile Facilities Technician based in New Jersey. This role involves maintaining and repairing building-related mechanical and electrical systems across multiple sites. Ideal candidates should have at least five years of experience in commercial equipment operation, mechanical trades certification, and familiarity with OSHA regulations. Responsibilities include responding to service calls, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the functionality of HVAC and other essential systems. Qualifications

• Required Mechanical Trades or Trade School certification in applicable disciplines.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in commercial building equipment operation.
• OSHA 10-Hour Safety Training Certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of operation and repair of HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform operation, repair, and maintenance of building-related systems.
• Respond to service calls and resolve emergency situations.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks as required.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
• Assist in the operation and inspection of emergency generators.

Skills

Mechanical Trades certification

5+ years experience in commercial equipment operation

OSHA Safety Training certification

Experience with electrical and plumbing systems

Strong knowledge of auxiliary systems

Ability to lift heavy objects

Education
