Job summary

Evergreen Health is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep facilities safe, welcoming, and fully operational. You will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our properties, and help keep interior and exterior spaces in good condition.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least 1 year in general building repair; strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1 year of building repair and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical and HVAC; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand properties and review operations, schedules, and equipment status.
• Update and manage work orders; coordinate with Facilities staff to resolve delays.
• Support preventative maintenance and maintain logs for life-safety equipment.
• Perform routine, preventative, and predictive maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot heating, cooling, and refrigeration; coordinate vendor repairs.
• Inspect buildings for heating, lighting, ventilation, cleanliness, and condition.
