Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Facilities Technician in Sunnyvale, CA to support operation, maintenance, and reliability of critical facility infrastructure in a high-tech manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on HVAC, boilers, pumps, and utilities; operating BMS, troubleshooting MEP systems, and maintaining CMMS records. Requires 2–5 years' experience, HS diploma or trade cert, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical trade school certification or Associate's degree preferred.
• 2-5 years of facilities maintenance experience in a high-tech environment.
• Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, chilled/hot water systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals; strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility systems (HVAC, boilers, pumps, air compressors, plumbing, exhaust).
• Operate and monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and respond to alarms.
• Support maintenance of MEP systems in manufacturing, cleanroom, warehouse, and office areas.
• Maintain facility utilities (chilled/hot water, compressed air, DI water, process gas).
• Record work orders in CMMS and ensure accurate maintenance logs.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors and follow safety procedures (LOTO, PPE).
• Contribute to reliability, safety, and efficiency improvements.
