Job Overview

Ameritech Facility Services is seeking a full-time, experienced jack-of-all-trades technician/handyman willing to travel and assist clients with building repairs. The majority of locations are retail and restaurant customers requiring help in construction-related issues such as troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing. Building relationships is crucial. Candidates should have at least 5 years of carpentry experience with a basic understanding of electrical, flooring, and plumbing. Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities and Skills

• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, roofing, concrete, stucco, fencing, asphalt, carpet, and tile repairs
• Use basic tools and follow instructions for installation or assembly
• Handle projects and manage time effectively; prioritize tasks
• Work primarily during daytime hours with occasional nights and weekends
• Maintain professionalism and a clean appearance

Requirements

• Over 5 years of commercial construction experience, preferably in restaurants
• Ability to travel regionally (50-75%)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and personal transportation
• Proficiency with tools and basic computer and smartphone skills
• Willingness to learn new skills

Compensation

Earn up to $60,000 per year as a Helper and up to $80,000 as a Technician, depending on projects completed.

Additional Details
