Job summary

Epson Portland Inc is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician to keep buildings, equipment, and critical systems operating safely in a manufacturing setting. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete minor repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and water purification systems.

You’ll document work orders, update progress, support safety programs, and assist engineers with evaluating new equipment.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot facility equipment.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, or wastewater systems.
• Ability to read and follow technical documentation and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and water purification.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on facility equipment and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other facility-related issues.
• Document work orders, provide daily updates, and track work-in-progress.
• Assist engineers in evaluating new equipment and technologies.
• Follow safety procedures, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to on-call maintenance needs as required.
