Job summary

mhgi is seeking a Facilities Technician to support Restaurant Operations across our Corporate portfolio. The role covers maintenance and repair of cooking equipment, general building upkeep, and timely management of work orders.

Emphasis is on safety, reliability, and strong service to internal customers. You will operate company vehicles, maintain tools and inventory, and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience in general shop and/or building maintenance.
• Basic trade skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and commercial cooking equipment.
• Knowledge of industry compliance and safety awareness.
• Ability to plan and schedule work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair cooking and prep equipment such as oven, grill, fryer, ice machine.
• Provide interior and exterior maintenance including electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry.
• Follow Preventative Maintenance schedules as directed by leadership.
• Review and complete work orders and projects within established timeframes.
• Provide facility visit summaries with next steps and close-out actions.
• Respond to emergencies with appropriate urgency.
