Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Eastern Territory is seeking a Facilities Associate at the Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Ashland, OH. Responsibilities include janitorial services, room setup, routine maintenance, and grounds care to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests and members.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Works well with others.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, climb, reach and bend.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the facility.
• Respond to fire alarms and hazardous materials management.
• Clean all areas: dust, trash, floors, carpets; restock supplies.
• Maintain and repair building and grounds; assist with displays and fixtures.
• Support pool area maintenance and safety recommendations.
• Maintain outside grounds and perform snow/ice removal.
• Assist with donation pickups and deliveries.
• Report maintenance requests to supervisors.
• Provide courteous guest service to visitors and members.
• Ensure safety rules and policies are followed; maintain safe environment.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in training.
