Job summary

The Salvation Army Kroc Center is hiring part-time Facilities Staff to support ground, building, and operations duties. You will help keep spaces clean, safe, and ready for programs, events, and daily use, reflecting the care and mission of The Salvation Army.

Responsibilities include custodial work, minor repairs, grounds upkeep, and assisting in events. A High School diploma or GED is required, plus a valid driver's license and safety training within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Background check required.
• Experience working without supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and Safe From Harm training within 30 days.
• Able to speak, write, and understand English for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of private and public areas.
• Clean, repair, and replace fixtures and equipment as needed.
• Adhere to daily custodial schedule and organize as required.
• Maintain grounds including landscaping and snow removal under supervision.
• Assist in events as directed by a supervisor.
• Other tasks as assigned by leadership.
