Job summary

The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Ashland, OH seeks a Facilities Associate to provide janitorial services, room set-up, and routine maintenance of the building and grounds.

You will perform cleaning, preventive maintenance, and safety checks, assist with pool area upkeep, handle donations and deliveries, and set up for events while ensuring a welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform medium lifting.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be approved to drive a Salvation Army vehicle.
• Must complete a background check (Webcheck) as required.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing of facility.
• Clean all areas – dusting, trash, basic floor care, vacuuming and carpet cleaning.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance/building repairs.
• Assist with pool area upkeep and safety recommendations.
• Maintain grounds: mowing, trimming, snow/ice removal as needed.
• Set up for events and ensure areas are cleaned after use.
