Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a General Facilities Tech at Wegman Family Cottages in Rochester, NY. This per diem role runs 7:30am to 4:00pm and supports the Extended Care facilities with maintenance, supply delivery, and transport services to keep areas safe and functional.

Responsibilities include evaluating equipment for repairs, restocking and setup, plus providing security support as needed. The ideal candidate has at least one year of related experience and strong customer service

Qualifications

• One year of related field experience required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Compassionate, warm and patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance. Assist in delivering supplies, equipment maintenance, room turnover, emergency response, patient and/or specimen transport and routine housekeeping functions; ensure a clean, safe and functional working environment
• Technical Support. Evaluate broken equipment and perform minor repairs; provide extra support for other technician such as restocking, and set up of equipment
• Security. Provide security support services as needed
