Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a General Facilities Tech to ensure a safe, efficient and comforting environment for staff and patients at Wegman Family Cottages, Park Ridge Living Center, 1555 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY. The role runs 7:30am–4:00pm and is per diem, with emphasis on reliable maintenance and patient-related support.

Responsibilities include maintenance tasks, equipment evaluation and minor repairs, routine housekeeping, and providing security support as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of previous work experience in a related field.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Compassionate, warm and patient focused.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance: assist in delivering supplies, equipment maintenance, room turnover, emergency response, patient and/or specimen transport and routine housekeeping; ensure a clean, safe and functional working environment.
• Technical Support: evaluate broken equipment and perform minor repairs; provide extra support for other technicians such as restocking and setup of equipment.
• Security: provide security support services as needed.
