Job summary

Arc is seeking a hands-on Facilities Technician to join our Los Angeles on-site team. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and plumbing issues, and keep office spaces refreshed. This role involves fleet management, safety-focused repairs, and daily ticket handling.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in facilities, can work independently, and are comfortable using Asana or similar systems. A driver's license is required for fleet duties.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of facilities, building maintenance, or related trade experience.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and a proactive mindset.
• Proficiency using mechanical and basic electrical hand tools.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
• Familiar with using Asana or a ticketing system to prioritize and track tickets.
• Basic computer and email proficiency.
• Ability to stand 6-10 hours per day and lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in tight or elevated spaces.
• Strong communication skills for interfacing with employees, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Valid driver's license (for fleet management duties).

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative maintenance and facility PMs/inspections on building systems.
• Troubleshooting basic electrical and plumbing issues.
• Making repairs to facility and building systems (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, doors, hardware, furniture, fixtures).
• Continuously refreshing office workspaces and handling general handyman tasks (drywall, paint, furniture build).
• Managing facilities tickets.
• Managing fleet vehicles.
• Maintaining high standards of safety and quality, including safety-related facility repairs.
