Job summary

Ronald McDonald House Atlanta is seeking a Facilities Associate to assist the Facilities Manager and Sr. Facilities Coordinator in keeping our houses safe, clean, and fully operational for families, guests, staff, and volunteers.

The role involves routine maintenance, basic repairs, and preventive tasks, with a Tuesday–Saturday evening schedule and occasional after-hours support. You will document work, assist vendors, manage small projects, and help with room readiness and inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1 year of facilities, maintenance or trade experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computers, tablets, mobile devices, Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn and effectively use a CMMS or other maintenance/work order system.
• Working knowledge of common hand tools and basic power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs under supervision.
• Carry out home and carpentry repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and drywall.
