Job summary

Ronald McDonald House of Dallas is seeking a Family Services Assistant for weekend evenings to support operations and guest services. The role reports to the Senior Family Services Manager and involves coordinating front desk, referrals, and room availability.

You will work Saturday 3:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.; Sunday 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., supervise volunteers, manage data entry in the Guest Facility Manager, ensure safety and cleanliness, and assist with nightly closing and donations documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or nonprofit family services preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to work weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operates front desk coverage and ensures RMHD staff are reachable during shift.
• Communicates RMHD policies and procedures to families.
• Coordinates weekend activities and staffing with Weekend Manager and Resident Manager.
• Manages referrals and room availability with Guest Facility Manager and Senior Family Services Manager.
• Performs daily census reviews and coordinates with managers on room status.
• Handles check-in/check-out processes and nightly closure of the facility.
• Documents donations of goods and services; reconciles cash and receipts as needed.
