Job summary

Pinch A Penny, a POOLCORP Company, is seeking a Facilities Technician in Clearwater to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve building systems and equipment. You will support daily facility operations, perform preventive maintenance, respond to service requests, and assist with general building upkeep under the Facilities Manager.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED, a Florida driver’s license, and basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
Experience in facility/building maintenance valued.
Able to read manuals, schematics and work orders.

Responsibilities

Performs routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
Troubleshoots and repairs electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and mechanical issues.
Responds to maintenance requests and facility emergencies.
Maintains doors, locks, flooring, ceilings, walls and office furniture.
Monitors facility systems and reports deficiencies.
Coordinates with outside vendors and contractors as needed.
Maintains maintenance logs, work orders and inventory records.
Ensures safety regulations and OSHA standards are met.
Assists with office moves, event setup and workspace modifications.
Operates maintenance tools, equipment and vehicles safely.
