Job Summary

This role reports to the building maintenance manager and is responsible for evaluating, repairing, and maintaining plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems in the buildings. Additional duties include minor painting, carpentry, masonry, general repairs, electrical maintenance, surface preparation for painting, fire pump and extinguisher inspection, and other assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, repair, and maintain plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Perform minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work.
• Maintain a safe working environment by general repairs of doors, walls, fixtures, etc.
• Perform minor electrical maintenance including fixture repairs.
• Prepare surfaces and paint various structures and equipment using appropriate tools.
• Inspect fire pump and fire extinguishers periodically.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent.
• 3 or more years of maintenance experience.
• Clean background and Florida Driver’s License.
• Ability to inspect and evaluate all aspects of the buildings.
• Capability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Strong verbal communication skills to take work orders and collaborate with departments.
